Lost cube information

Have you seen an abandoned cube? 500 cubes were dropped around Chicago. Sadly, some haven't been seen since. If you've seen or have any information on the whereabouts of a cube, post it here. Or help us by downloading missing cube fliers and hanging them around your neighborhood.

Vry funny! I wish I would have found one myself, but I like seeing what others are doing.

I saw a cube sitting behind the bar at a place called Toons on Southport in Wrigleyville. I asked the bartender working at the time where it came from be he wasn't sure.

We checked out the reports of the missing cube at Toons. It's legit, but it's not one of the missing ones. It has already completed its art project (in French even). See it at http://500-ways.com/Cubes/Details.aspx?CubeID=232

As for Cube Enriquez, if anyone can help move it to the Art Institute, contact us at [email protected]. Thanks!

I think you're lucky no one called the bomb squad on one of your cubes....

A fair concern, Gamze. City officials were alerted before the campaign was launched, to avoid any potential misunderstandings.

I saw Cube Enriquez near Francis and Point St, Logan Square, close to the california "El" stop. is this cube lost?

Thanks for your question, Catherine. As a professional cube wrangler, I've had to learn to accept that some cubes aren't meant to be wrangled. Cube Enriquez isn't lost. Rather, it has an independent spirit which simply cannot be harnessed.

Well that is excellent news! He looked a little chilly when i saw him and i was worried. Hurray for independent spirits that cannot be harnessed! :D

I found Cube Enriquez in West-Bucktown on Point Street on 3/17! How exciting, but this cube has already been found. What does it mean for a cube to be discovered? Is there a life expectancy for these cubes? What a neat project! I don't yet understand fully how all this works, but I plan to do my research. I am on the look out for more cubes. To be continued....
